Reviews of The Bungalow

"This was a last minute booking and The Bungalow did not disappoint. I had read the 2013 Trip Advisor review and this seemed to be what would suit myself, husband, two daughters and 2 dogs - we found the previous review and Skyes Cottages current listing very accurate. Helpful and friendly host who, after showing us all we needed to know in the cottage, then left us to enjoy our stay. Gorgeous outdoor enclosed back garden/BBQ area with flowers in full bloom. Clean, comfy, large beds and a good sized open plan living room and dining area. Great American fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Located a very short walk from the Main Street in Milton Malbay, A lovely base to explore all the Wild Atlantic Way 'cliff coast' tourist attractions. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you."

"We liked everything, The bungalow was a real home from home place, comfortable and beautiful, close to all amenities, and the owners could not be more helpful. We would recommend the house and holiday destination to anyone. Could not fault it in any way. "

"We go to Ireland every year with our two dogs and teenage daughter, It is very difficult to find a property with a large enclosed garden, for our dogs to run in, that has a pub and restaurant withing walking distance, and has WiFi for our daughter and to keep her occupied on her I Pad. This cottage fitted our needs, the owners live next door, and when we couldnt connect to the WiFi, they went out and bought and fitted a new router the next day, The back garden is amazing, south facing with big gas barbeque, and plenty of outdoor seating to laze in the sun or eat alfresco, the lawned big garden is shared with the owners next door, who have a vegetable patch, but we hardly ever saw them, they even presented us with home grown potatoes and cauliflower. The bungalow is a bit dated in its decor, and could do with a new bathroom, but saying that, it was very clean, and the cooker was gleaming inside, there was also a huge american fridge freezer and dishwasher and washing machine. Miltown Malbay has plenty of bars, the Guinness was very good in Michael a's bar, and the Old Bakehouse restaurant was really beautiful. I would go back again as this place suited all of our requirements"
