Reviews of Butterfly Cottage

"Myself, my husband and 2 dogs stayed in Butterfly Cottage from the 10th to the 17th June. The cottage is beautiful, it is very well equipped with all of the essentials required. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster, washing machine, coffee peculator. The sun room and garden were our favourites! The dogs loved the garden , it was perfect for them. The cottage did not have WiFi but we were able to use our mobile phones as a hotspot and access the internet that way, so it wasn't really a problem. The cottage is very cosy with a stove in the living area. I would highly recommend staying here. The cottage is in a great location, a couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and pubs in Milltown Malbay and Spanish Point is only 3km's away."

"Butterfly Cottage was a terrific value. The cottage is adorable and comfy and amazingly well suited for 6 people. Two bedrooms are are the second floor and share a full bath located on the first floor. The third bedroom is on the first floor and has an attached bathroom and a sitting room leading to the garden. If you have an early riser in your party, that is the room for them! There are doors throughout that house that can be opened or closed to partition the house for maximum privacy or noise control. I liked that best about the house. Also, the walls are so thick that you can't hear a sound from the traffic right outside the door! The kitchen could have been a little better appointed. There was no microwave, coffee maker or coffee press but the kitchen had all the basics! We strolled down to the corner grocery store for our coffee each morning and that was fun to do. There was no wi-fi but we visited The Central each day for a drink while we checked on our email. The furnishings are comfortable and attractive and the entire cottage is adorable. Pubs, groceries, banking, post office, etc... is on your doorstep and there is music every night!! Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Doolin, Aran Islands are all a short distance away!!!"
