Reviews of Lower Tundridge Cottage

"We stayed here for a family Birthday celebration and the accommodation was large and comfortable for us all. The standard of accommodation was excellent and the space for everyone was brilliant. The hot tub was a huge success. The downsides; the weather was miserable when we arrived and there was a heavy damp smell in all the 4 downstairs bedrooms. The heating was remotely locked at 18 degrees with no way of warming up the house. We had brought our own logs and so we lit the log burner which was great to have a heat source but it leaked smoke rather alarmingly into the living room because the glass panels were loose! There is plenty of parking space for cars but no real garden to sit in and certainly no view which was disappointing for this very remote location. The three frying pans were all totally worn out which was strange as we could see that a previous guest had asked for a new pan a few weeks earlier! Ridiculously difficult to find as no signs anywhere!!! Not even the locals knew where it was!!!"

"A beautiful cottage with everything! We booked for a special family birthday and were wow-ed from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was fabulously equipped and a huge breakfast bar meant that we could all sit together, eat and chat. With an open plan lounge adjoining, the kids were happy watching TV whilst grownups could still keep an eye on them. The beds were lovely and comfy and the showers amazing; the hot tub was great too! Everybody loved the huge round shower/bathroom with disco lights built into the walls. Thoughtful and generous host too... we're definitely coming again as soon as we can find an excuse."

"As an extended family of 9, we loved this property, finished to a high standard all the rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, possibly the comfiest bed I have slept in. The showers and bathrooms were a luxurious treat and the outdoor hot tub was enjoyed by all. We took great advantage of the high spec kitchen and enjoyed the lovely chocolate/ bread and snacks left by our host Mo, a generous touch, all enjoyed in front of the log burner. The surrounding area offered several great days out . Thoroughly recommend staying here and would visit again . 5 stars ."
