"I was particularly pleased with the enclosed dog friendly garden that was all laid to lawn with mature trees. My two dogs are very active and loved playing rough and tumble games in it. The cottage was very suitable for dogs too as it was uncluttered and stone floored for much of downstairs. Being ideal for dogs did not compromise how lovely it was for people either, it was perfect for what we wanted, which was a clean, comfortable and cosy base from which to explore the surrounding area."

His grave is only half a mile from the cottage. Yew Tree cottage is a very comfortable and homely place with a huge bathroom and the super king bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in our many cottage stays in this country. "Lovely, warm, well-appointed cottage, set in beautiful countryside. It was conveniently situated for Malvern, Tewkesbury and Upton-on-Severn. We had a very restful holiday and were not bothered by the owners, who live in the farmhouse across the yard. We loved the kitchen/diner - and used the cooker, washer/dryer and the dishwasher many times! There was also a lovely large bathroom. The only downside was I had to buy cleaning materials (washing-up liquid was provided, plus a couple of dishwasher tablets) and I would have liked more towels. A large bath towel plus a hand towel wasn't enough. But then again I didn't ask for extra so I take the blame for that."
