Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Lawned rear garden area with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome at no additional charge (Please keep dogs on the lead in the garden area, a lead extension is provided). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub 10 mins walk. Note: There is an unkept track leading to the property.

Location

The High Ground is a first floor studio apartment in the owners' grounds near Castlemorton. The apartment has a king-size double bed with a sitting area, a separate compact kitchen and a shower room. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and there is use of a rear lawned area with furniture. The High Ground is well placed for the amenities of Castlemorton, as well as as a base for the Malvern Hills, Cheltenham, Ledbury and more.

A short distance away from Castlemorton is a fascinating Iron Age hill fort, British Camp, situated 340 metres above sea level. Located on the boundary of Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the stunning scenery and landscapes of this area draw many walkers and cyclists, and there is an abundance of wildlife here to spot. The picturesque 12th century church is a central feature of Castlemorton, and the lovely surrounding countryside ensures that this is a relaxing and tranquil holiday destination. Malvern, Ledbury and Tewkesbury are all just a few miles away, and all these towns offer a good selection of welcoming old pubs, restaurants and shops, as well as the characteristic black and white houses of Herefordshire. There is so much to visit in and around Castlemorton, including country houses and gardens, museums, castles and railways, all of which make for a wonderful holiday for the whole family.

Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

"We got transferred here through Sykes Cottages as our original accomodation got flooded....what a blessing! Stunning location within a short walk to the Malvern Hills , surrounding beautifull countryside a lovely airey open plan apartment tastefully decorated very dog friendly a short 15min walk to the local pub The Robin Hood which serves brilliant food also very dog friendly....extremely glad to have been re located here and finding such a gem will definitely return"
