Reviews of Chapel Cottage

"Chapel cottage was the perfect choice for our family holiday. We stayed for a week and loved every minute. The beautiful thatched property was very well equipped, lots of little extras to make our stay comfortable. It was clean and cozy with so many personal touches, the kitchen and dining area were great for cooking, socialising and eating together as a family (something we rarely do!) and the living area had all the amenities you would want to relax, especially the reclining chairs and smart tv. Beds were super comfy and we loved the fact that the owner had provided lots of local information, the takeaway curry and the takeaway pint were great recommendations! The outside space was just enough, the kids loved spotting the flowers and the ornaments. Parking was available round the corner too so not a problem when heading out to explore each day. Pewsey was quiet and offered us all that we needed with shops, takeaways and parks. We travelled to Longleat, legoland and laycock during our stay. stonehenge was not far either so will be doing that when we stay again as we would definitely come back. Thank you."

"I've stayed more than once at this property, and it's as accessible by car as it by train. Don't be put off by no off-road parking, Pewsey has ample free carparks - one just behind the cottage and you can access the drive to pull your car right up to the cottage door to load/unload. The train station is literally a 5 minute walk and a bus stop close by. Pewsey is a great base whether you want to just relax, walk/cycle or use it as a base to visit all the fantastic attractions down there. The cottage itself is full of original charm, but has all the gadgets and conveniences to hand if needed that a family now expects in a home away from home. Although not advertised, there is a lovely seating area at the front of the cottage that in summer is bursting with colour and captures the Sun most of the day. Would definitely stay again."

"A lovely cottage, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A homely warm feel too. Really close to amenities in the village, shops, take aways etc. Within a short distance from loads of sights including Stonehenge which is a must see. I would have no hesitation in staying here again, thank you."

"We have stayed in this charming cottage more than once. It's very comfortable and well equipped and in a great location. The village of Pewsey and surrounding area is lovely too, with so many places to visit. We used the parking just round the corner but bus and train connections are good if you don't want to drive."
