Reviews of Daily's Place

"Excellent cosy cottage. Really warm and snug, 3 real fires all set for use to complement the central heating. A rustic feel yet very clean and comfortable. All facilities considered and very well situated since just a short walk to Haworth with all the amenities and attractions on offer."

"The property is in a good location ,and has good access to the sights around the area .This is a quirky property which no doubt has a lot of history ,creaky floors and odd layout .The property is in need of some tender love and a good cleaner to remove the cobwebs and fluff ."

"A lovely cottage. Warm and homely and combines the quirky features of an old cottage with modern comforts. The wood burning stoves are a real bonus. We loved the cosy lounge and the kitchen is great for family meals round the big table. Very well located for the centre of Haworth - less than 5 mins walk from Main Street. Also easy to park on the street outside. Only slight disappointment that bathroom not quite at the same high standard as the rest of the cottage but perfectly usable."

"Sadly back from our annual holiday in Haworth. This was our first stay at Daily's Place and we certainly NOT disappointed. The cottage is beautiful, full of character, quirky and the pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean and tidy and the owners were very accomadating allowing our dogs and an early check in! Although at the bottom of the high street I was soon to discover a short cut to the moors where I spent every early morning with the dogs. The high street is only a short walk away as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone"

"Great place for would be ghost hunters but not great for someone wanting a restful holiday!! I don't believe in ghosts but someone tried hard all night to try to change my view!! Furniture moving doors banging etc. After a sleepless night we found in the morning heavy furniture had been dragged around and the cellar door barricaded from the inside. We complained to Sykes cottages who we booked through who took no action. The cottage caretaker also dismissed this. Something or someone was messing about all night and ruined our stay. We have had to vacate the property that we paid to stay in and move to a local hotel for some peace and safety. Poor show on behalf of Sykes cottages! We will not use them again"

"The cottage is lovely, really beautifully done. It was very clean and well equipped with modern appliances. We used the twin bedroom and the beds were extremely comfortable. The shower is very good. There is plenty of room to spread out with the cellar sitting room. "
