Welcome to Cobble Cottage. This end terrace cottage is in the village of Heptonstall in Yorkshire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Accommodation

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x adult bunks. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Utility room in cellar. Sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Gas central heating with woodburner. Electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. No parking at property but some roadside parking as well as a free public car park 50 yards away. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub and shop 5 minute walk. Note: Steps down to cellar are very steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Please note that bookings can't start or end on a weekend; please call the office with any queries on this.

Location

Cobble Cottage is a charming property situated in the village of Heptonstall, near the town of Hebden Bridge. It can sleep four people within its two bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other with adult bunks (to reach the double you must walk through the bunk room). There is also a bathroom, complete with a shower basin, toilet and washbasin. Downstairs there is a sitting room and separate kitchen, with steep staircase leading to a cellar with utility room. Cobble Cottage is a cosy property in the Calder Valley, the perfect spot for a couple or family wanting a break in the the Yorkshire countryside.

The pretty town of Hebden Bridge sits within the Calderdale Valley and provides home to the picturesque Rochdale Canal and a charming Victorian railway station. Excellent walking country, with the National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way close by, this delightful location is also the first 'Walkers are Welcome' town in the UK, a scheme supported by the Ramblers? Association. Alternatively, scenic drives and fabulous cycling, as featured on 2nd stage of the 2014 Tour de France and the 2015 Tour de Yorkshire, can be enjoyed from your doorstep. The popular village of Howarth is nearby, well known for its winding cobbled streets and the Bronte Parsonage Museum, the former family home of the illustrious Bronte sisters. The area is also a must for steam railway enthusiasts who will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway, whilst the highly acclaimed Eureka Museum is in Halifax, noted for its unique Piece Hall and its Victorian architecture. The stunning architecture of the Dean Clough complex should also be admired and is just seven miles away. Skipton, Gateway to the Dales and Holmfirth, recognised from Last of the Summer Wine, are also both easy car rides away.

"Set in the quiet, pretty village of Heptonstall, this us an excellent base for country walks and rambles locally and further afield. We enjoyed visits to Hardcastle Crags and the small but vibrant town of Hebden Bridge with uts quirky shops restaurants and cafes. Heptonstall has excellent views of and access to the surrounding countryside and a very welcoming pub with good food and a choice of beers. You can also find the resting place of Sylvia Plath here !! Returnng after our excursions was a treat. Warm and cosy,beautifully furnished and decorated, Cobble Cottage with its roaring fire was very welcome indeed. Will definitely return."

"A fabulous stay with friends in this beautiful cottage. The area is close to Hebden Bridge with stunning views and access to any walking routes. The cottage is outstanding, it is cosy and beautifully furnished and decorated. The owners have clearly taken pride in making it so welcoming for their visitors.
