Reviews of Woodmancote Lodge

"We had a great stay in such a peaceful lodge. We stayed over new year to get away from the fireworks as we were looking after a foster dog who had been through a lot of change. This was the perfect location. The only noise we could hear at night was the owl who lives in a nearby tree. The lodge is compact and very well thought out, everything you could need is here. It fits two adults and a large breed dog (Bull Mastiff), very comfortably. The floor is wooden, so easy to wipe clean after muddy walks. The sauna was an added bonus after a cold evening walk. It's in beautiful surroundings and we plan to come back during a summer month to appreciate a different season."

"A great location for lovely scenery and walks with our dog. The sauna was an asset and lovely to use after a long walk through the woods and countryside. The Lodge had everything we needed to cook a full English breakfast before setting off. It was near lots of good pubs and restaurants. A very clean and comfortable stay with beautiful views."

"It far exceeded our expectations overall. The swimming pool was much appreciated, it was warm and large, and the decking area was great, with views across the paddock. The lodge owners were very helpful and welcoming."

"Although this is a compact little Lodge it has everything you could need, the owners have gone to great lengths to use all the space and everything is of a high standard. Although it is set in the owners grounds you have complete privacy. The decking is great for sitting out on and the view of the paddocks is a joy. It's very peaceful and quiet. We would go back again and again."
