"This cottage is outstanding! We stayed here in November and although there were floods in parts of Derby we did not experience this and had 2 lovely walks over the weekend with the dogs. The Royal Oak pub close by is fantastic and welcoming as well as the Cock Inn pub in the vicinity. The food in the Royal Oak is excellent and Dog friendly with lovely staff and roaring fire. The owner of the Orchard cottage does her best to make sure we were comfortable. The cottage is fully equipped, comfortable, two fully working T.V.s with excellent WiFi. The Whirlpool bath is relaxing and there is a shower if you prefer. The bathroom has underfloor heating. Fabulous. The beds were comfortable and the house is clean with lots of space and the kitchen has everything you need. Wonderful dining room for a get together over a home cooked meal. Would like to stay here in the Summer because the garden is suitable for a BBQ. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy and I thank the owner for sharing this lovely cottage which offers more than I can write here. Plus Netflix. Makes a change to stay somewhere which is as described. Not forgetting there are lots of toys and a games room in the garage. "
