Higher Horwood Farmhouse is a fabulously presented cottage situated in the hamlet of Stoke Trister near the town of Wincanton in Somerset. Abounded by spectacular countryside scenery, this property comprises four large bedrooms, three on the first floor with a master suite on the second floor, boasting an en-suite shower room and a games/sitting room. Inside is also a family bathroom, kitchen/diner, two sitting rooms, a utility and cloakroom and a conservatory. Outside the beautiful gardens wrap themselves around the exterior and there is ample off-road parking. Higher Horwood Farmhouse has a wonderful artistic flair and spacious rooms, delighting any guest a break away to the country.
This town rests in Somerset in the South West of England offering traditional stone buildings with thatched roofs. Despite being small in size, Wincanton offers a lot for you to do. During your stay you could visit Wincanton races, the Discworld Emporium or the golf club as well as a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy at your leisure. Wincanton sits just outside the Cranborne Chase AONB as well as many other areas of natural beauty and awe. The popular destination of Glastonbury is also within a short drive.

"My family and I have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Higher Horwood Farmhouse as a birthday treat for myself. Words cannot describe just how magnificent this property is. Fay and Justin have done a truly wonderful job at renovating this 400 year old farmhouse and are the loveliest of people. The farmhouse certainly has the WOW factor. The grounds are stunning and you can see for miles and miles set in such beautiful countryside and this made for an incredibly serene stay. I highly recommend staying here for anyone who enjoys nature and the quiet life."
