Watchet is a little coastal village in Somerset, with interesting shops and a marina. The West Somerset Railway passes through the village towards Minehead. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed both along the coast and in the surrounding countryside. The seaside resort of Minehead is 9 miles away, home to a sandy beach and golf course.

"The cottage was in a nice peaceful residential area just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour and all the amenities. It also had good off road parking with a designated space. The accommodation itself was very well equipped, clean, cosy, well furnished including a very comfortable bed. The owners had kindly provided a little welcome pack of milk, chocolate biscuits and orange juice for our arrival."

Pubs, fish & chip shop, curry house, Chinese, 3 cafes & a small co-op store were all within 5 minutes walk in the old fashioned seaside town with interesting history. "The Bakery was a beautiful house. Your description and four ticks matched it perfectly. The garden was very pretty and as the weather was glorious we sat in it for most of the week. It had the sun all day long. The house was very clean and comfortable with an enormous bedroom. The kitchen had everything except a washing machine. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the shops and marina. "
