Electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, TV with full Sky package, WiFi. Fuel, power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Patio gravel area with seating at front. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. Shop 2 miles, pub across the road, 2 min walk. Note:The owner has a washing machine which you will be able to use on request. Note: The living area and first floor bathroom are accessed via the king size bedroom.
Location
The Barn is a lovely quaint cottage right in the heart of Somerset, near Glastonbury. It is an annex accommodation, part of the owners home, however, it has a separate entrance. The bedrooms are very spacious with king-size double beds and Sky TV in each. There is an unusual layout with the open-plan living area being on the first floor with dining and sitting area and large bathroom. The Barn is perfect for two romantic couples looking for a change of scenery or a family of four wanting to escape the busy working home life.
The delightful, historic Somerset market town of Somerton, once the ancient capital of Wessex, borders the scenic Somerset Levels, just south of Glastonbury. The attractive town centre offers visitors an array of local shops, banks, pubs and restaurants. Somerton provides a perfect base from which to explore lovely Somerset, with the surrounding countryside teeming with pretty villages and quiet country lanes with footpaths, ideal for walkers and cyclists, with ancient Glastonbury, Clarkes shopping village at Street, Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge all within an easy drive. A super small Somerset town providing a superb touring base within easy reach of a wealth of interesting attractions and National Trust properties.
