Reviews of Wisteria Chalet

"This quiet, clean and very comfortable chalet is within easy access to lots of local attractions including Burnham on Sea, Brean Sands and Weston Super Mare, Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury. The chalet has every amenity you would need including washing machine, microwave and cooker and the owners even provide you with bread, eggs, butter, milk, scones, jam, clotted cream, teas and coffees and a bottle of wine to welcome you. There is a workshop situated next to the chalet with games, puzzles, gym equipment, freezer and tumble dryer and the owners even offered us the use of their bikes should we want to take a ride! Lovely, friendly owners living in the house the chalet sits beside, but not intrusive in the least. Plenty of parking on site too. We had a lovely week there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone,"

"This small chalet, tucked away in a quiet corner of Somerset was just right for our holiday. The main part of the chalet is an open lounge, dining and kitchen area. There is a double bedroom at one end of the chalet and the bathroom is at the other. The chalet is very well equipped, with a cooker, microwave and toaster for food preparation and a larder fridge. There is also a washing machine. There is a freezer in the nearby barn. It is well provisioned so all we had to do was turn up and sit back and enjoy our stay. The whole chalet was clean and comfortable and well furnished. The garden is small but is very private and we enjoyed almost every meal out on the patio. At the time of our visit the local pub is out of action but it is hoped it will reopen soon. The nearest pub is at Bason Bridge but there are better pubs around for eating at. We would recommend the Crossways Inn at West Huntspill. The nearest shops and railway station are at Highbridge. There is a restaurant at the nearby Cider Farm but the one time we tried to eat there it was fit to burst and we didn't try again. The carvery looked nice though and the Cider Shop is worth a visit. The owners are extrememly welcoming and as they live nearby are on hand to answer any questions. Our thanks to them for making us so welcome and so comfortable for our week in Somerset."

"The chalet was located in a peaceful area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The chalet had everything we needed. Wifi was also very useful and there was even an electric blanket if needed when staying in cooler weather. We cannot fault this accommodation. One of the best self catering places we have stayed in in over 20 years in the U.K."
