Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Roadside parking outside cottage on first come, first served basis. Enclosed decked garden with patio and furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk, pub 5 mins walk. Note: There is a small step into the porch and then from the porch into the kitchen. There's also a small step up into the en-suite shower room from the bedroom. Note: Check-in 4pm. Note: No workers sorry

Strawberry Rose Cottage is a character, semi-detached cottage in Cheddar. There are three bedrooms across the ground and first floors, one with an en-suite shower room, along with a separate family bathroom, in total offering accommodation for six guests. There's also a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner, while outside you'll find roadside parking on a first come, first served basis and a rear enclosed decked area with patio and furniture. Strawberry Rose Cottage is a charming character base, less than a mile from Cheddar Gorge.
The village gave its name to Cheddar cheese and has been a centre for strawberry growing, the crop being transported on the railway, now a fabulous cycle path. Wells, Glastonbury and the scenic Somerset coast and Exmoor National Park are all easily accessible, truly spoiling you for choice of how to spend your holiday!

"My family and I stayed over the Christmas period. The cottage had been decorated beautifully and everything was clean, tidy and homely. The cottage is warm, cosy and comfy in every room. The bathroom upstairs was particularly lovely with a big bath tub and spacious shower. Our extended family all live in and around cheddar and staying in strawberry rose cottage made our Christmas period even more special. Thank you very much! Mary Barrett"

"A lovely cosy cottage with all that you need for a great holiday. Close to all that Cheddar has to offer.. Had read that parking was an issue, always managed to park close by with no problem. Watch out for the low doorways which are marked with warning signs, still managed to come home with a sore head! The bathroom facilities are fantastic but could do with shelves for shampoo etc and a mirror for shaving.. would recommend to all. "

"We had a wonderful pre-Christmas break in Cheddar staying at Strawberry Rose Cottage. The house in warm and welcoming, with everything you need and is just 5 minutes walk from the famous Cheddar Caves. A highchair and travelcot were available for my daughters baby and there were dog chews ready for our dog on arrival. Andy, the host, is very helpful and has a lot of local knowledge. Out and about, Cheddar has lots of pubs, serving good food and everywhere we went we recieved a friendly welcome. One thing that might be helpful to know is that dogs are not allowed upstairs in the house."
