"Location delightful. Property perfect and garden fantastic. Lou, Andy and Ollie helpful and friendly hosts. Felt like home from home. Our Norfolk Terrier Daisy and granddaughter Holly enjoyed the company of their wonderful dogs Rosie and Hettie. Everything one needed was to hand and all immaculately clean and comfortable and there was no item we missed. Mandy the housekeeper was friendly and helpful also. We would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone wanting an interesting but calm and serene break."

"A very comfortable, clean and bright cottage with all amenities - it was home from home. The gardens are beautiful and made the stay extremely pleasant as we were able to wander around and enjoy the serenity and beauty accompanied by the beautiful girls Hettie and Rosie. The hosts Lou, Andy and Ollie were the best host we have ever experienced and made us feel totally at home and were always available to advise or help while at the same time respecting our privacy and keeping their distance if that was what we wanted. The surrounding area was full of beautiful countryside and so quite compared to the busy South East. Close to Wales as well so able to explore North Wales as well as Shropshire. There was plenty to keep us busy over the 4 days despite the rain on two of the days. I would recommend to everyone and we will be going back again very soon. We will now be visiting our new friends as well as beautiful Shropshire!!"

The cottage had everything we needed in order to make our stay very comfortable - we even had our own private garden to relax in! The hosts, Andy and Lou, are so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend Maple Tree Cottage!"

Lou and Andy were perfect hosts. We visited The Bear, great food and the dog was allowed in the snug room. We visited Market Drayton and Hodnet Hall. All helped by the perfect weather! "

"We stayed for a week in February, what a fantastic welcome two beautiful very friendly golden retrievers followed by Lou a more lovely lady you could not wish to meet, this is a fantastic place with beautiful gardens i found myself walking around most mornings. The cottage itself is very well furnished and perfect all round, bed very comfortable and very much to out taste, If I try really hard to to mark the cottage down in any way the bathroom is just a tad small, however don't let this put you off as it really is a fantastic place. The closest village is Hodnet, with great little pub called the Bear and fantastic old church you can have a good look around, everyone we met was very friendly and helpful, we are defiantly going back next year,"

"My husband and I stayed here along with our Greyhound Sandie 8-15th July 2016 . Our Apartment was over what used to be the Coach House (now garages) Everything you needed was there. The owners Rob & Louise were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The Apartment was next to their home which used to be a farm and situated in the most wonderful gardens which wrapped all around the house There was also a secure paddock where we were able to let Sandie have a run around. We ate out 3 times at the local pub, The Bear in Hodnet - about 1 mile away. They were also dog friendly and their food was very good. All in all I can honestly say it is a super place to stay in and also handy for Wales and lots of other places not too far away."
