"This cottage was wonderful and provided us with the perfect location for a break in Shropshire. Everything about it was cosy. The owner was extremely welcoming and came to meet us upon arrival. It's the perfect place to come to get away from the world and sitting the sofa enjoying the view of the birds was an amazing way to start every morning. "

"Nice cottage, everything supplied that you would need .However quite cold, not helped by owner turning heating off while out walking, even though only left it on 15 degrees. Was also sent txt to turn light off at night time, and to hoover before leaving, which would have done anyway. Also asked to only leave possitive comments only in guest book.no heating in kitchen. seems a tad unkept since photos....apart from that, quite nice place and owner.."

Location is central to many places to explore. Just the most quiet, relaxing holiday we've had for a long time. Plan to return one day."

"Stable Cottage itself is comfortable, well appointed and very charmingly furnished. Its situation adjoining the owner's home, a former rectory, is equally pleasing, rural and peaceful. In July, with the garden in full bloom, the view from the sitting room across the terrace to a small woodland was a delight, as was the view of wild birds at the numerous bird feeders. The owner was friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive, and we positively enjoyed sharing space with them. We were blessed with perfect summer weather for our fortnight's stay, but it is clear that Stable Cottage has more than adequate central heating, and would be a very cosy place to stay off-season or in less temperamental weather.
