Further afield are the towns of Stamford and Oakham, offering a good choice of amenities including many independent shops, high-street retailers and quality eateries. Plenty of walking and cycling opportunities can be enjoyed throughout the area, particularly on the beautiful Rutland Water Nature Reserve.
