Reviews of Bowler Yard Cottage

"The converted stables is well decorated and immaculate (apart from the huge sofa which is to be replaced soon) and spotlessly clean. Impressed by the well-planned open space as well as the amount of good quality kitchen equipment; yet still enough space for food storage (lack of food storage space is a too frequent problem in many holiday properties). Very comfortable beds, and a well stocked library of books and DVDs. It is in a quiet rural location with the relaxing sounds of birds with bucolic views over fields from the sunny patio and decked area, and set in a vineyard with free-roaming chickens. The on-site vineyard owner Johnathon is a very enthusiastic winemaker. He gave us a tour and tasting and the rest of the bottle to finish later. Easy access to several National Trust or English Heritage properties and other attractions, as well as trails through Sherwood Forest."

This place is very clean and well kept. It is beautiful in the winter I can only imagine the summer. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to returning one day."
