"We both enjoy holiday cottages and one of the most important aspects we look for when we stay at a cottage is...the feeling of being 'welcomed' to a cottage. Chare Close Cottage owners made us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. What impressed us were the small touches ie tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, scones, butter and jam. Some might say so what, but these additions made us feel welcome, and it made all the difference to us. A lot of cottage owners leave nothing, this act makes us feel unwelcome regardless of the accomadation! So our stay is coloured by the lack of welcome. Chare Close was a wonderful stay helped by good weather, and we will go back."
