"Meticulously Clean & Characterful Apartment, centrally located in this delightful village. We stayed 3 nights as a family (3 adult couples), during our trip to Northumberland. The Apartment is tastefully furnished, with a high spec including lovely quality bedlinen & towels, welcome after a long trek along Hadrians Wall (approx 20 mins drive to Once Brewed Visitors centre where we parked & did circular walk along this superb section of wall). We particulary liked the 3 large ensuite bedrooms & wonderfully spacious Lounge, accommodating us all comfortably. John the owner whom we met on our arrival, made us feel welcome & briefed us on the accommodation & nearby places of interest & eateries. Corbridge is a lovely historic village with lots of quaint shops, good restaurants & 4 pubs, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definately return in future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

"Our recent stay in The Old Exchange in Corbridge was a first class experience from the very first moment. Situated above an art gallery in the heart of the small and very picturesque town of Corbridge, this apartment was furnished to a very high degree throughout. We had a choice of any one of three beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms and both of us being keen cooks we found the kitchen contained everything we would need during our stay. The welcoming owner not only gave us exceptionally concise directions as to ease our finding both apartment and parking space but in addition, having known that we were staying especially for our 25th wedding anniversary, had left a selection of goodies for us along with a most unexpected bottle of rather good bubbly! In addition he called us to arrange a quick courtesy visit during our holiday both to meet us and to check that we were content with the apartment. Indeed we were. We would heartily recommend both this apartment and the town of Corbridge to anyone looking for quality accommodation with excellent facilites close at hand."
