"Stayed again here for the Christmas period and enjoyed it just as much as last year. It is in an ideal position so near to the centre. There's all you need for a good stay, comfy bed and big bathroom with a big bath which I loved. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy retreat."

"This is a beautiful cottage in a great place. The cottage has everything in it that you need and is so close to the main street of Skipton. It was so clean and tidy and a comfy bed and a huge bathroom with a big bath as well as shower. It was so quiet as well. There are 2 doors and the front room one takes you to the town the other takes you to the canal which is a great place to walk along. We would love to stay there again."

"It was our 2nd stay at Town Cottage. Its in such a great location - a few minutes to the town centre and the same to the canal, but really quiet and peaceful. It is always very clean and everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay is provided. The kitchen - small but adequate- especially as we ate out every night- there is no shortage of places to eat- or get takeaways. Oakley's restaurant is out favourite . This is an ideal base for exploring the Dales. we visited- Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey- Hawes- bought and sampled lots of cheese- Grassington and Bronte parsonage at Haworth. I know we will return again to Town Cottage - soon I hope"

The cottage itself is very cosy, warm and comfortable and, as we ate out, we weren't in any way inconvenienced by the slightly small kitchen. "Although the cottage is right in the middle of town it is very quiet and secluded. Less than a minutes walk to shops, pubs and restaurants you could be in the middle of a tiny village. Comfy bedroom, small but cosy living room and huge bathroom. The kitchen is tiny, but there are so many restaurants, cafes and pubs serving food in Skipton who wants to cook? Literally a stones throw from the marina and canal, as well as the lovely market it is the perfect place for a break. We shall definitely be visiting this cottage again!"

"Excellent cottage - very clean and comfortable. The owners very friendly, helpful and considerate. Skipton is a very attractive town - lovely to walk round and along the canal and up to the castle. Excellent fish and chips from Bizzie Lizzies and pork pies from Stanforths. Enjoyed going round the market as well. Went on the Settle Carlilse railway - very scenic and ideal for getting off somewhere and walking."

"A lovely romantic cottage for two with everything you need for a perfect break. Parking is right outside the cottage and the lovely town of Skipton is literally a minute away but there was never any noisiness. There is plenty of facilities in Skipton from supermarkets to restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The bedroom is the perfect size and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a shower and a bath. The lounge is a also a nice size with comfortable furniture. The kitchen is a little on the small side but we managed okay - the owners have said they are going to give it a redesign at some point to maximise space. We will definitely be going back at some point."
