Reviews of Spinners Nest

"Having previously visited skipton we wished to return with friends. We were happy when we found spinners nest - only being a 5 min walk to the town centre and being located in a quiet street we were more than happy to park the car and walk during our 5 day stay. The house is well equipped for cooking though we preferred to eat out. All you need for your stay is supplied including towels, bedding and cleaning products. The house is cosy with character. The staircase is steep but okay once you have been up n down a few times. Instant hot water available with a very powerful shower. The owner has thoughtfully put notes in specific places to help make your stay comfortable ie note at fireplace with basic instructions on using the fire, same again in the toilet re the shower. Would recommend spinners nest as nice, clean, well equipped accomodation in a good position for exploring skipton and the dales."

"A perfect location in a quiet upmarket development in Skipton. 4 minute walk from excellent local shops and no through traffic ( only surrounding residents). Parking opposite front door. Facilities first class with every need catered for . As much thought has gone into the planning as would be given for a private home. Many original features have been retained alongside a modern, well fitted Kitchen, and Bathroom which is fully tiled with an immaculate suite. Very comfortable with good furniture and quality soft furnishings. All this and a welcoming atmosphere - who could ask for more?"

"The cottage is lovely and very homely. Everything that you need for a home from home holiday is there, and we really felt relaxed and settled. The enclosed yard was great for our dog, and he spent a lot of time out there with us on an evening enjoying the late sun. You are only a five minute walk into Skipton and a minute from the canals, which are great to walk along. We all really enjoyed our stay and will be back."

"A lovely homely, comfortable, cottage, in a quiet street, with unlimited parking right outside the door. The lounge sofa's were very comfortable which is always very important to me as I have back problems. The stairs are steep and we had to come down backwards for safety. It is an easy 8--10 min walk into Skipton to explore, so no need to take the car. The cottage has a safe, enclosed, yard so we could let our dog roam. Our only negative is there wasn't enough mugs in the house. Also, I found the kitchen was not as clean as I would like, but I am fussy. Skipton is a fantastic town to stay and explore the Dales. We would love to stay again and recommend that you do as well !"

"A very quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Skipton is a fabulous market town with plenty to do and see. The back yard was small but as it was completely enclosed was safe for both small children and dogs. Had comfortable furniture and very well equipped kitchen. The whole house was light and airy. Would definitely stay there again."
