Location

Lavender Cottage is a delightful stone-built, semi-detached cottage situated in the Dales village of Threshfield, one mile from Grassington. This cottage sleeps three people in two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one single, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside there's ample roadside parking and a small, front seating area. There is also an external utility, a log store and secure bike storage. Lavender Cottage is a convenient base for a couple or small family with walks from the door and lovely villages to visit nearby.

The small village of Threshfield in Upper Wharfedale borders the nearby villages of Grassington, Linton, Hetton, Cracoe and Rylstone. Grassington, only one mile away, is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find traditional stone cottages and shops, along with a monthly farmers' market, and further afield is the market town of Skipton.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

"Lavender Cottage is comfortable, warm and cosy. Perfect for a ' get away from it all' break. Everything we needed in the house was available. Good pub with food just across the road. Walking routes from the door. Other lovely villages within walking distance. No snow unfortunately, but not the owners fault!!"
