Reviews of Fountains Cottage

"Only got here yesterday as part of a weeks stay and needed to write this. Everything is perfect. Everything oozes quality and attention to detail. Kitchen has an AGA cooker. Now I want one back at home. Dishwasher/washing machine/fridge/Belfast sink and all the bits and bobs you need. Lovely touch with milk and beer in the fridge and fresh flowers on the table. Everything is there without the need to go shopping on your first day. Large breakfast table at one of kitchen. Constant surprises and delights with the thought and quality of the kit in the cottage. Coal fire in the living room with plenty of stuff to get it going. WiFi/sky tv/books/latest dvds/games/maps and guidebooks. Comfy couches and beautiful decor. Bedrooms are the same. Bedding fresh and soft. Nice fluffy soft towels. Underfloor heating in both kitchen and bathroom. Shower is fab. There are even heated mirrors. Located next to a river on the site of an old Mill it is 20 minutes walk up to Kirkby Mallum and a great pub The Lister Arms which has amazing food and glorious real ales. Perfect location for all the beautiful walks and near towns like Skipton. What an amazing find this is. Thankyou"

"Our family of 4 (children aged 10 & 6) have just spent the perfect week in this beautiful cottage. It was immaculately presented with every home comfort you could possibly need. There was plenty of living and storage space. The cottage itself was warm and extremely comfortable in an idyllic setting. It was the perfect base to explore the stunning Yorkshire Dales. A particular treat was being able to walk from the cottage along the river and into Malham itself - just a 15 minute stroll. We couldn't have asked for more from the cottage or the location. We would very highly recommend. "

"We have just returned from a week in this gorgeous cottage. It is part of an old converted Mill and is set in lovely peaceful grounds. It is walking distance (across fields) from a great pub in Malham and there are lots of walks that can be done directly from the cottage. It has fitted out to a really high spec, with a lovely warm Aga, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. I would highly recommend this as a base for exploring the area."

"Start with a setting of outstanding natural beauty. Now take an historic structure, take first class materials along with a thoughtful and ergonomically perfect design, use top quality craftsmen and top-end whisper-quiet appliances. Result: Fountains Cottage. We could have stayed another week (and probably will in another year or so!)"
