Its single steep street climbs from Low Hall at one end to High Hall at the other, and the surrounding meadows and pastures merge with wooded hillsides and bracken clad valleys to make wonderful walking countryside. The many scenic walks include the Dales Way following the banks of the River Wharfe, whilst the nearby Parceval Hall Gardens offer woodland walks and quiet gardens with glorious views of Simon Seat. Appletreewick boasts two pubs and an unassuming little church which was converted from three cottages! A sleepy little village with great Dales appeal, Appletreewick makes a perfect base for a memorable holiday.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

"An absolute home from home in every possible way. A surprisingly well equipped cottage with everything you could possibly require. Had very modern furnishings & fixtures and was very roomy & comfortable for adults and children. Very quiet and peaceful location. Thrilled with the wood burner and there was plenty of wood/coal/kindling to create plenty of ambient fire. The house was warm and dry, the shower and bath hot and comfortable. Absolutely faultless. We were made to feel very welcome from the owners, great communication."

"Fellside was absolutely fantastic, fabulous location, cosy, spotless and everything you need. The views from all windows were beautiful and we loved it. We met up with family and they were very impressed and want to book again for next year. The local pubs, 5 minutes walk, were welcoming and within easy reach for Skipton and Grassington, the dogs loved it too and enjoyed many walks by the river. Fellside is a must! "
