Reviews of Dales Cottage

"Dales Cottage is located in Linton Falls just a short distance from Grassington. The cottage is comfortable, cosy, very nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and has parking, which is a definite plus. The owner had kindly left cake and wine - neither of which lasted too long. Cooking was an experience as no-one was AGA-proficient, but by the end of the week we had mastered the basics and were proud of our accomplishments. If you are thinking of visiting the area and looking for accommodation, you wouldn't regret booking Dales Cottage! During our visit we experienced the fun and entertainment of the 40's weekend which was an unexpected surprise, visited Bolton Abbey (tiptoed across the stepping stones) and took advantage of the excellent bus service to spend a day in Skipton. All in all our week was excellent. The weather was fantastic, we had some wonderful walking both up and down Wharfedale, visited some lovely village pubs and generally made the most of what is possible the 'end of summer'."

"This is a lovely warm, comfortable cottage which happily accommodated a family of 5 and one dog. Amazing Dales walks from the door - beautiful Linton Falls, Linton Church & Village, Grassington. 10 min walk from The Hedgerow cafe & florist in Threshfield who serve delicious coffee, crumpets and off course cake! 5 min walk to The Fountaine Inn @ Linton. The cottage is very well equipped throughout and I would highly recommend."
