Reviews of 4 High Mill

"Another fabulous stay in this lovely property which is so well equipped and comfortable. My 3 friends and I stayed here and with en-suite bathrooms in three of the bedrooms plus a main bathroom, we all had our own bathroom which is often rare in holiday homes. The house is warm and cosy but with plenty of room... the views from the bedrooms are wonderful, even on a grey day. It was fabulous to look out on the gorgeous countryside. We spent time at the Coniston Hotel, using their wonderful spa with afternoon tea... what a way to spend a weekend!! "

"We spent a week here in November and had a fabulous time. The accomodation is so comfy and perfect for larger groups as there are ensuites/bathroom for each double room. The beds and bedding were so comfy that we all slept so well. The kitchen was very well equipped and made catering such a pleasure. We loved the fact that we could go on lovely walks in the area straight from the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk along the canal tow path to Skipton which was approx. 6 miles. We enjoyed a look round this lovely market town followed by tea and cakes and then caught the bus back. We are hoping to make a return visit next year!"

"My friends and I stayed here in March and had a fabulous weekend. The location is perfect.... so peaceful and quiet. There is off road parking, plus the bonus of a garage should you need it. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen with its huge table is perfect for spending time together, cooking and sharing the odd glass of wine! There are 4 bedrooms, all with good quality furnishing and bedding and very comfortable beds. It was so quiet, we all slept like logs! There is so much to see and do in the area, from lovely walks to shopping etc and I would not hesitate to recommend a stay in this lovely house. "

"We arrived at High Mill early after long journey from London and we were greeted by the cleaner Catherine who made us a drink and advised on local restaurants and places to visit. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all the facilities needed and more. Fantastic spacious kitchen, which was a pleasure to cook in. We had great walks in Malham, wonderful coffee and cake at Kelham farm shop and a great spa day at Coniston. It is also worth mentioning it is in walking distance to the train station with frequent trains to Skipton and Leeds - one of the days we went on the steam train from Keighley which was great and a novelty thing to do! Overall it is at a vrilliant location to local attractions in a lovely peaceful surroundings. Will definitely return and would highly recommend to others."

"Loved this very well equipped property with great decor. Very comfortable stay for a big family get together with 3 generations. Wonderful to be 'away from it all' in the dales, close to Skipton which is a pretty town with very interesting castle and plenty of amenities. Gargrave itself has all you need on a daily basis. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring Yorkshire."

"We were floored by this place, absolutely incredible! Beautiful rooms, stunning location, amenities catered for throughout (including epic bath tubs!) and walking distance to just about everything you would need. I do find it interesting to see the 2 parking places available however as when parking directly outside the property I received a rather rude telling off from a neighbour when a polite request would have received the same result. Definitely stay here just avoid the neighbours!"

"This is a lovely large house, we met there for a family get together and it was ideal. Close to good walking in the Dales, Malham is nearby. Pennine Way crosses Gargrave and perhaps as a result there are good eating places, pub and Indian restaurant both 10 mins walk and excellent. We loved this house !"
