"This is a lovely little rental property for two people. It has been excellently renovated by the owners. The lounge is cosy with both heating and an electric fire. As the weather was not brilliant we spent some time in the apartment and would a more comfortable sofa and chair would have been appreciated. The bedroom was lovely with a great view over the village green. I enjoyed the large bath and shower in the bathroom. A shelf in the bathroom would be useful for toiletries. The home made bread and jam on arrival were appreciated."

"This perfectly renovated hayloft overlooking the village green is the ideal accommodation for couples. Looking tiny from the outside, the inside is roomy, and most thoughtfully and loveingly decorated and equipped. There's plenty of heating, including a cosy fire, and a basket of fluffy blankets for cold spells., and wonderful views over the village green, especially from the huge fanlight window above the "barn doors" - exactly at bed level so you wake in the morning to a glorious view. When we arrived, there was freshly baked bread, butter and jam awaiting us, and fresh milk in the fridge, as well as fresh coffee for the perculator. The cupboards revealed the best selection of condiments ever. No leftovers from previous tenants here, but fresh bottles of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, teas of every kind, and instant coffee. The bathroom was also equipped with a selection of toiletries, and big white dressing gowns. The nearest village, Masham, can be reached on foot in half an hour, and the village pub is only a five minutes' walk. walk."
