"Myself, my husband and our 8 month old son stayed in the Sun House for a week and it was just perfect - the owners were extremely helpful and we arranged pick up of the keys with no problem at all - after some useful instructions regarding the cottage, and some advice on what might be good to see/do, they left us to it for the week, on hand if we needed them for anything. The cottage was modern, clean, cosy and fully equipped with everything we needed - particularly liked the kitchen/dining area where we had most of our evening meals. We had a car so location was perfect really for visiting the local area, and driving to York and Harrogate. So much to see and do in the area, a week was not really long enough! It was a relaxing week, with the cottage providing a cosy 'homely' base for our holiday - it was just right for us and our baby son... but I suspect it would be perfect for a couple to have a romantic getaway!! Would love to go back!"

There was more than enough matching cutlery and dishes and all that one would require. The location was quiet and sheltered and we enjoyed our stay. Anyone wishing to go to York would be wise to take advantage of the Park and Ride system. We liked the cottage and Paul best and no negative points except if one only wanted a drink or a pub meal one would need to use the car."
