Reviews of The Sett

"This was our first family holiday in the country as a family of 3, we have a 2 year old who loves football, when we mentioned this to Ingrid and James the following morning there was a goal set up for our son who was over the moon which sums up the detail to attention, not just this but they left a lovely hamper along with some little gifts for our son. The acommodation was beautiful, quality finished and a lovely view of the countryside. We would love to visit again as there is lots to do within an hours drive such as Cleethorpes, Skegness, Festival park and Lincoln. Thank you so much once again for making our holiday so special."

"The Sett was a fantastic find. It was very cosy, comfortable and wonderfully relaxing whilst still being convenient for all the birding sites along the Humber and down the Lincolnshire coast. The kitchen was so well-equipped that we tended to stay in. We will be regular visitors."

"The cottage was a real luxurious haven. It was warm and toasty inside even though it was absolutely freezing outside. Everything we needed was there and everything was spotlessly clean. The property was detached enough for us to have our privacy but not completely be cut off from the world. The owners let us know they were there but gave us the space and privacy we needed. "

"We stayed here for our first holiday with our 9 month old daughter and could not have picked better. The accommodation was fantastic. Clean, well presented, comfortable and modern. The thoughtful touches like the welcome food and drink pack and the visitors manuals were gratefully appreciated as were the little touches like rubber ducks in the bathroom for our little one. Ingrid and James were so welcoming and friendly but respectively kept their distance and always made it known that they were on hand if we needed anything. The accommodation is extremely peaceful yet well located for trips to the East coast resorts or to quaint little villages in the Wolds. The Deep in Hull is only 45 minutes away and is a brilliant day out especially with little ones. All in all it was a fantastic week made all the better by our accommodation and by the hospitality of Ingrid and James. We wish them well in all their endeavour."
