This small village is home to a church, pub, small post office, and a large Equestrian Centre - ideal for touring the whole of Leicestershire. For those who enjoy walking and getting out in the countryside, Burrough Hill Country Park is close by with historic features and superb views. The next town to the east is Oakham, with Oakham Castle, Rutland County Museum and many shops, pubs and restaurants. Rutland Water Nature Reserve offers birdwatching and fishing to walking and cycling. Bugtopia is a small interactive zoo showcasing over 75 species of invertebrates & reptiles, plus a souvenir shop - plenty of fun for the whole family!
