Reviews of The Granary

"A friendly helpful owner, Helena, has furnished her renovated cottage to the highest standard with modern appliances, a very comfortable convertible king size bed that separates into 2 twin beds and wonderful bathroom. The cottage is located on a quiet, easily navigable country lane in Kent County. Edenbridge, a small village is only a couple of miles from the cottage, has a variety of ethnic restaurants, a superstore and an excellent historical museum. And, of course, the internationally known Hever Castle is only a couple of miles away. Several excellent pubs are only a couple of miles away. In summary, the Granary has our highest recommendation. My wife especially liked the friendly cat."

"This is a delightful place to stay - hidden away but with excellent directions to find it. Everything - the decor, the furnishings, the bed-linen, the utensils - was of superb quality. Tea/coffee/milk/sugar and a deliciously tempting chocolate cake greeted us on our arrival with a warm welcome from the owner. A great advantage is the choice to have a super king-sized bed or two singles. The proximity to Waitrose in Edenbridge and the Henry VIII Inn in Hever means one will not starve! And of course there are a multitude of places to visit within a short distance. A week is not long enough but it will entice you back for another visit."

"Extremely comfortable and well appointed cottage. We particularly loved the king size bed and the modern walk in shower, only wish other cottages would cater along these lines."

"The Granary is finished, furnished and decorated to the highest standard. It's a gorgeous space to be in, and is very quiet and relaxing. The Granary was the perfect short break. The outside space is lovely too but I did not use it in the January rain!"

"The Granary is a true home from home, the owner has made this cottage a cosy warm retreat to return to after exploring the Kent countryside. The well equipped kitchen is the best we have ever had in a holiday cottage with good quality utensils and appliances which made cooking Christmas dinner a breeze. The bed was big and really comfortable, and the puzzles, books and games kept us entertained. We would highly recommend this property to anyone."
