Situated at the mouth of the River Stour in the county of Essex is the historic port town of Harwich. Adjoining the small seaside town of Dovercourt, Harwich offers a number of amenities, ranging from convenience stores to quaint harbourside restaurants, one of which is named after the famous diarist, Samuel Pepys, who was MP for the town in 1679. The town has lots of beautiful architecture to admire, as well as a golf club and golden, sandy beach to keep you occupied on your stay.
