Welcome to Blythe Cottage. This delightful 18th century semi-detached cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Piddinghoe, in the South Downs National Park close to Newhaven and can sleep six people.

Three bedrooms: 2 x double (one with sofa bed), 1 x ground floor double. Ground floor bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast bar (seats 2). Dining room with electric woodburner-effect stove. Sitting room with woodburning stove. Sun room (seats 4). Oil central heating with electric stove and woodburning stove. Electric range cooker with double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Side and rear gravelled garden with furniture, raised decked area and pond. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: There is an unfenced pond in garden, children should be supervised. Note: Due to the period cottage, there are some uneven floors and small steps leading into some of the rooms. Note: Max 6 people.

Blythe Cottage is a delightful 18th century semi-detached cottage situated in the picturesque village of Piddinghoe, in the South Downs National Park close to Newhaven and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. The cottage oozes character with parquet floors, wooden beams and original latched doors. A formal dining room with an electric woodburner-effect stove leads through to the spacious kitchen. There is a comfortable lounge benefiting from a woodburning stove, and off the lounge there is a lovely little sun room with a further sofa and a small dining table, with patio doors that open out onto the garden. The ground floor accommodation is completed with a spacious family bathroom and one double bedroom. Upstairs, there are a further two double bedrooms, one of which includes a double sofa bed, to provide flexible sleeping arrangements. Outside thereis off road parking for two cars and a pretty garden with a patio, pond and a raised decked area. Blythe Cottage cottage is the perfect place to stay, at any time of year.

Newhaven is home to a thriving marina and busy seaport, along with all that a seaside town has to offer. If seafood and fish is your desire then look no further, the many restaurants and harbour bistros offer daily catches with mouth-watering menus that everyone will wish to try. Dine alfresco at almost anytime of year, due to the southern climate in this part of Sussex. But if something a little more adventurous may take your fancy, then why not take to the skies by paragliding over the Sussex Downs at Firle only a few miles away? Ferry crossings are twice a day from Newhaven Seaport if you wish to stock up on Continental wine and spirits, or just to sample the soft French cheeses in the Dieppe market held every Saturday.

With many quaint, seaside and market towns, historic sites and miles of glorious coastline to explore, Sussex has it all for a great holiday destination.
