All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower and basin. Separate WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Oil central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Patio with furniture, plus shared use of owners' extensive garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles. Note: There are a small number of internal steps.

Location

Primrose Cottage is a converted barn situated next to the owners' farmhouse and B & B, four miles from Great Torrington. This single-storey cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Outside there's off road parking for one car, a patio with furniture and shared use of the owners' extensive garden. Peace and quiet is guaranteed at Primrose Cottage, from where walks, sandy beaches and lovely villages can be enjoyed.

The town of Great Torrington is situated above River Torridge within driving distance to the North Devon coast. The town offers a selection of individual shops and pubs, plus a mile away is the wonderful RHS garden at Rosemoor. There are also many delightful villages and beaches in the area.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Lovely accommodation is clean and peaceful and the host as Hilary and Colin are extremely friendly. A perfect base for a weeks summer break , exploring local north Devon . Highly recommended . "
