Location

Woodland Hideaway is a semi-detached cottage, attached to the owners' farmhouse, on a working livestock farm, three miles from South Molton. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, with one on the ground floor, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture, children's play area and barbecue. Woodland Hideaway is a great get-away-from-it-all base for families with plenty to see and do in the area.

The Devon market town of South Molton is known as The Gateway to Exmoor. The town offers a range of shops, amenities and a weekly market. Close by are forests, moors, rivers and coast, with churches and other buildings of historical significance. There is superb walking on the South West Coast Path and the North Devon beaches are varied and interesting, and why not visit the National Trust's Watersmeet Gorge?

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

"The owners were so lovely and helpful, and the cottage was great, it was really clean and had everything we needed. The towels felt new, lovely and soft, and the place was so easy to relax in - just what we needed. It had really comfy beds as well. Had a excellent break, made even better by the super owners."
