Nestling between the high, rugged tors of Dartmoor and the wide sandy beaches and rolling surf of the North Devon coast, this delightful town boasts picturesque thatched cottages and quaint pubs. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, with many pretty little villages dotted throughout the area, and several excellent coarse fishing lakes and rivers, quality golf courses, and a number of National Trust properties within easy reach. There are few better spots from which to experience the joys of beautiful Devon.
