St Giles-on-the-Heath is a rural village in West Devon, near the boundary with Cornwall. It is an ideal destination for those wanting to explore both counties. There is a village pub, shop and access to many countryside walks. To the west of the village is Bodmin Moor which is ideal for walking and riding, and to the east is Dartmoor National Park. The market town of Launceston is nearby, with its castle, steam railway and narrow streets lined with local shops, and popular day outings include Boscastle, Tintagel, Newquay, Port Isaac and Padstow.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
