Reviews of Zeal Cottage

"The location was rural, so very quiet and peaceful. The owners, who live in an adjacent thatched cottage, met us on arrival and went through appliances, etc. as well as providing a book with a lot of information. Owners also provided a lovely welcome package, which was most appreciated. The house was spotless, the beds very comfortable, underfloor heating adjustable in each room and good hot showers. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Both bedrooms quite spacious. Rather modern interior but beams from the old mill building had been retained and gave atmosphere. As three adults we found plenty to do in the week we were there, including Exmoor and Dartmoor. There is also a public walking path accessible from the property. If we lived in England we would be back."
