The village has a great history, with a Grade I listed church, Lapford was also associated with the Archbishop of Canterbury, and is said to be haunted by his spirit. Lapford train station offers access to the towns and villages nearby. Exeter lies within driving distance and is worth a look with its architecture and activities on offer. The nearest well-stocked town is Crediton just 9 miles away.
