Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Paddock with orchard and stream. Use of stocked fishing lake (rod licence required). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: Due to lake and stream, children must be supervised at all times. Note: Check-in 4pm. Note: Lane to property can be bumpy, care to be taken.

Location

Lakeside is a character barn conversion in a rural setting near Zeal Monachorum, 9.3 miles from Crediton. The cottage has a double and a zip/link twin room, a bathroom and a ground floor cloakroom. The living area is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars, a paddock with orchard and shared grounds including a fishing lake. Lakeside makes a wonderful rural base for enjoying the countryside or exploring Dartmoor or Exeter.

The tiny village of Zeal Monachorum lies seven miles from Crediton, amid beautiful countryside. Crediton has a selection of amenities, and the area is full of wonderful walking and cycling. Visit Exeter, or head to Dartmoor National Park.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

"The cottage was delightful with modern decor and everything was immaculate. We had no hesitation in using items out of the cupboards without having to wash them first and the sheets and towels were snowy white. We had full control of the heating, such an important feature when the weather is so changeable . The views are wonderful and a delight to wake up to. Owners are on hand if needed and they are really nice and welcoming."

"A group of four spent a week at this location. From the moment we arrived the owners were friendly and very helpful. The property was spotless and nicely decorated with everything you need for a stay. The beds are amazing to sleep in. The location is perfect to explore Devon as it's fairly central so easy to branch off to different places. The fishing lake is one of the best places we have ever fished. We literally caught one after another and all were good sizes. We will definitely be staying again and can not recommend this highly enough."
