All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, 1 x double. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Utility. Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, high chair and fireguard available on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with decked veranda and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 6 mins walk. Shower stool available on request.

Location

Barnshelley Lodge is a luxury wooden lodge in the grounds of the owners' home, 1.5 miles from the village of Copplestone and within driving distance of Exeter. This cottage sleeps four people and has a zip/link super king-size double with en-suite, a double, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with woodburner. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with a decked veranda, furniture and barbecue. Barnshelley Lodge is an excellent base for exploring the Devon countryside.

The mid Devon village of Copplestone is situated in lovely green countryside, four miles from the town of Crediton and a twenty minute drive from the cathedral city of Exeter. Copplestone has a shop and pub, as well as the Copplestone Cross, which is said to mark the centre of Devon, with many believing it dates back to the 10th century. There's also a station at Copplestone, from where you can catch a train on the renowned Tarka Line.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
