Location

North Devon has some of the most magnificent coastal scenery in the South West with dramatic cliffs and rocky headlands. Ideally placed for exploring both the coast and nearby Exmoor, is Pipistrelle Cottage, in the pretty hamlet of Kentisbury Ford. Recently converted, Pipistrelle Cottage has been beautifully finished throughout. The sunny, patio garden overlooks a shared lawn with picnic table and children's play equipment and has superb long views over Exmoor. Inside Pipistrelle Cottage you'll find a neat open plan living/kitchen/dining area with attractive beamed ceilings. A handsome half turn wooden staircase leads up to two bedrooms in the eaves, a spacious double and a room with twin beds. They share a stylish modern shower room suite.

Combe Martin is a seaside resort with amenities, as well as a beach andl its own Dinosaur Park. Combe Martin is home to the Earl of Rone festival in May and has a carnival in August. This is a ideal base for touring, and discovering North Devon, with Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple all within reach. There are National Trust properties and gardens placed nearby. Surfing at Woolacombe is among the best in the South West, while the South West coastal path passes within a mile. Combe Martin is a base for enjoying a seaside break, with something to keep everybody entertained.
