Barnstaple is a coastal town with a market, shops, restaurants and bars, along with two beaches popular with surfers and families. Barnstaple lies at the end of the Tarka line railway journey, which takes you through the North Devon countryside of valleys, moorland and a coastline, plus close by is the village of Clovelly.
