Reviews of Bramble Grange

"We have just stayed at Bramble Grange for three nights. We were greeted by the very friendly owner and shown around. The owners live on the property but the cottage is seperate & unless you need help with anything, the owners completely leave you to your own divices. The cottage has it's own little outside area with a fabulous hot tub, yes it is against a road so you can hear some traffic, but we didnt find that off-putting. The high surrounding wall allows you complete privacy, which was a definite plus for the property & we would most certainly return. The location was ideal, with a shop & pub in walking distance & some great walks round & about. We also drove into the City one of the days, which took about 40 minutes. Would highly recommend to families & couples."

"We have just come back from a weeks break at bramble grange, we had a wonderful time, it was a perfect holiday cottage for us and our 2 children. We were met asoon as we got there shown around, then left to enjoy our holiday, the place was clean and the hot tub was amazing, we had everything we needed shops were not far away, local pub, park for the children within walking distance, The noise wasn't an issue, like the pervious review said, it's situated on a main road so there is bound to be cars and trucks go by. We would certainly visit again Thank you"

"The accommodation at Bramble Grange was just perfect for us, both in terms of the living and sleeping arrangements, and proximity to the areas theme parks and other tourist/activity centres. The whole accommodation inside and out was spotless. My husband and I were on holiday with our 3 year old son, so the 2 good size double bedrooms were excellent - very comfortable beds, good storage and lighting. There was a fold out dining table in the living area which was great for eating together. Also there was a lovely private hot tub and sauna, TV with DVD and WIFI access for us to keep ourselves entertained at night once our son was asleep. The main bedroom also had a TV. The owners live in the attached main house (a lovely couple who just leave you to it unless you need them) which, together with this holiday letting, wrap around a very cosy quite court yard style drive/garden with fish pond, lovely planting and evening lighting and a designated car space. I would definitely recommend this property for parents with one or 2 children or 1-2 couples looking to explore Leicestershire and neighbouring county's."

"Had a very warm welcome from the owners. It was a lovely little cottage which was absolutely spick and span! We really enjoyed our break at Bramble Grange, especially the hot tub in the garden which was amazing and had jets and light features! It was great to know that the owners were just next door in case we needed anything. Also it is very very well located in he National Forest and very close to all the main attractions, fishing lakes, restaurants and cafes."

"Cottage is nice enough, lovley hot tub in garden, but noise level from main road is horrendous , it was very hot when we stayed , so with windows open it was dreadful, even with double glazed windows it can be heard.. Pretty garden but no shade or umbrella, no table to eat meals at only coffee table. Nice lounge with pretty bay window. Clean but Bathroom was dated. Bedrooms not very big, no dressing table. Nice cotton bed linen an comfortable beds. Lacked some equipment like basics bathmat, caftetiere. Milk and shloer left in fridge which was a nice gesture, but all round traffic noise spoiled it totally."

"The owners of the property were very friendly and helpful and although the property was attached to their own, it seemed completely separate. There were plenty of things to do locally, for all the family. The hot tub & sauna were a bonus too!"

"Lovely compact, comfortable accommodation, very easy for my elderly parents to manage in, it was everything we needed. Can imagine the garden being a lovely little sun-trap in good weather too. The owners were very friendly an very helpful, making us feel welcome and at ease. Wish we'd booked for longer than 3 days!"
