Reviews of 25 St. John Street

"This cottage is right in the centre of Wirksworth within a short walking distance to everything. We arrived on a busy weekend with a Wizard weekend and a beer festival a few steps away. Ideal location for walking, with our dog, and able to leave the car for free. The cottage has two bedrooms, one en suite, a lounge with dining area and kitchen arranged open plan style, all over three floors. Take note of the description stating steep stairs to both upper floors, it means steep stairs. Care with young children would be necessary. The size of the ground floor level would be 'cosy' for 4 adults. All facilities that we needed for a week were provided, and biscuits and milk thoughtfully provided by the owner. Good sized, well enclosed rear yard would be great for socialising in fine weather."

"Lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated. Lovely furnishings. Gorgeous bathrooms. One with a massive shower and the other with a huge freestanding bath. Excellent location. Wirksworth is a sweet little village with plenty of cafes, restaurants and takeaways. Very close to Matlock and Bakewell. Would definitely stay again when we're in the area."
