Location

The Chapel is a nineteenth century conversion located just outside of Ashover in Derbyshire. It has a mezzanine king-size bedroom and a shower room, the property can sleep two people. To the outside there is plenty of off road parking and a side decking with a table and two chairs. The Chapel is a beautifully restored cottage in a great location for exploring Derbyshire and the Peak District.

Situated in the Amber Valley, Ashover is a charming rural village only four miles from Matlock. Surrounded by hills it stands high above sea level, and there are far reaching views into neighbouring counties. Ashover was mentioned in the Doomsday Book and was known as Essovre. There are several public houses in Ashover and 'The Crispin Inn' claims to one of the oldest in the Peak District. With its fascinating history and proximity to many attractions in the area, Ashover makes the perfect base for a holiday in this beautiful area.
