Hawthorn Cottage is a charming choice for a romantic break, this end terraced cottage is on a site with 4 other cottages (3 with Sykes Cottages), the owner's home and a small rural caravan site, between Barnard Castle and Richmond. There is one double bedroom in this single storey property, which also has a shower room. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there is a bright sitting room with dining area. A front patio with furniture and off road parking are outside. When heading out to explore, you can easily access Ripon, Durham, Fountains Abbey, or the Dales and Moors, making Hawthorn Cottage an ideal base all year round.

Caldwell, a small village in North Yorkshire, lies between the popular market towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle. Caldwell is ideally located for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors and coast. Ripon, Durham, Fountains Abbey and Lightwater Valley theme park are all within easy reach.

"The location was ideal, especially with the dog, as they have their own dog walking field, the cottage and surroundings are beautiful. The cottages are very well equipped and have everything you need. The owners are very friendly and do an excellent job keeping the cottages and grounds very clean.
