Reviews of Laurel Cottage

"We had a fabulous week's stay. Our second in Laurel cottage. Everything was provided we could wish for - a spotlessly clean home from home, with both conservatory and lounge as comfortable relaxing places. It is perfectly situated to visit many interesting places - and we did. Hadrian's Wall. Cragside, Durham and of course the beautiful Pennines are our favourites. Would recommend it to all. Thank you for giving us another great stay."

"We had a fastastic holiday with our little jack russell in May at lovely 'Laurel Cottage'. The cottage is beautifully clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. We can highly recommend this cottage. It is in a good location to enjoy site seeing. We made our trip to visit our relatives who also enjoyed sitting in the lovely conservatory. We had all home comforts, in this spacious cottage, having a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, the owner has thought of everything, even to the smallest detail. The beds are very comfortable with lovely bedding and gorgeous soft fluffy towels. This cottage how it is presented is a credit to the owner. We will be booking again next year."

"Our first stay in Durham and we found the cottage was well equipped, clean and functional and of a high standard.Unfortunately parking and noise were a bit of a problem as driveway on a sharp slope and limited parking in front of property. Noise from main road made sleeping difficult and barking dogs at the back were a bit of a nuisance."

"Loved the fact it felt like home from home, everything there that you needed. Lovely to sit in the conservatory hardly used the lounge except when it was too hot to sit in the conservatory. Hopefully we will return as found it very comfortable and in a good location. "
